Our History |
Apple Valley Faith Center (AVFC) was established in 1979 by Myron and Doris Eddy as they were led by God's call into ministry. It began in their house and with growth, moved into a small conference center called the Apple Valley Grange. Soon after, they purchased the land that AVFC still calls home. The Eddy's designed building plans and a group of retired construction workers donated their labor to bring the plans to life. Later Doris Eddy designed another building and started a school. Myron Eddy served as Head Pastor until 1987, when he died and his wife Doris Eddy continued the ministry as Head Pastor. After Pastor Doris' death in October 2013, her daughter Cheryl Denny was called into the position as Head Pastor.
